Creative Writing at GCC is part of the English department. Current course offerings are listed under the “CRW” heading in the online catalog through the GCC homepage:
In addition to introductory overviews (CRW 150), courses are offered in beginning and advanced poetry (CRW 160/260), beginning and advanced fiction (CRW 170/270), novel writing (CRW 272, 273, 274), beginning and advanced screenwriting (CRW 190/290), journaling (CRW 204), and creative non-fiction (CRW 180). A CRW 200 independent study course, Readings for Writers, matches reading and creative writing depending on a student’s writing goals.
