It’s time for the 4th Annual White Elephant Contemporary Poetry Gift Exchange at Glendale Community College.
WEDNESDAY December 10th NU-104, 7 PM
Poetry books can make great gifts and we will prove it by giving away some collections that are worth stealing. Just in time for the holidays.
You are invited to bring a cool poetry collection and share one or two of its poems with the crowd. Then you can exchange it for one of the great books on my table, or one of the “in play” books that someone else in the crowd is already holding.
There will also be giveaways throughout the evening, so you still have a chance to walk away with some great new poetry, even if you just come to listen.
Everyone will encounter some great poetry and maybe even a new favorite poet. Or at least a little exposure to some worthwhile poetry and presses that Barnes & Noble would know nothing about.
